DATA BACKUP (DHCP)


In order to practice recovery lets delete some files from DHCP then we will do recovery..

RUNà DHCP (press enter) local server (PC1)àIPV4àDouble click on scopeà
 or
Startàadministrative toolàDHCPàlocal server (PC1)àIPV4àDouble click on scopeà






















Right click on excluded IP Address range  then click Delete






Excluded IP Address range is deleted


To perform restore
RUNàCMD (press enter)
Command line
àNetsh  (press enter)
àdhcp (press enter)    
è Server restore testbackup   (“test backup”  is name of folder where backup was made)  
   Stop the DHCP and Restart



Stop the DHCP and Restart it 

àNet stop dhcpserver



 DHCP server is stopped




DHCP Server is stopped (view by server manager)

To view DHCP open the DHCP console

Runà Startà Administrative toolàDHCP




Another view DHCP Server is stopped (view by DHCP Console)



Starting DHCP Server
 àNet start dhcpserver





Recovery of Backup is done.

To check DHCP server is restored?
StartàAdministrative tool à DHCP àLocal server (PC1)àIPV4àScopeàAddress Pool
Or
Runà DHCP



Deleted IP Address (Data) is successfully restored.
